Bookshelves
BrailleNote Touch recognizes various media types that are saved in separate folder structures called
Bookshelves.
To access the Bookshelf menu, type SPACE with B.
The following Bookshelves are available in the BrailleNote Touch: Talking books, Other Books, Music,
Saved Podcasts, and Text Files.
For VictorReader to recognize books or media, they need to be saved in a folder with an appropriate
name.
For example, for VictorReader to recognize talking books, your talking books need to be saved in a folder
name
d “$VRDTB” at the root of your external S D card.
All talking books located inside this folder will be
available in the Talking Book Bookshelf in VictorReader.
To be detected by VictorReader, other books or media types need to be inside the following folders:
Talking books (DAISY, NISO): $VRDTB
Other books (MP3, WAV, OGG, MP4): $VROtherBooks
Music: $VRMusic
Saved Podcasts: $VRPodcasts
Text Files (TXT, HTML, XML): $VRText
