6.2 Recommended Spare Parts

During operation dummy parts can fail. When the dummy is exposed to extreme pulses
a failure can suddenly occur. Normally, however, an early warning for a part that may
fail soon is given by the certification procedures. It is recommended inspect the dummy
as described in chapter 5 before each test and certify the dummy regularly as described
in chapter 8. To safeguard continuous operation with the Q3 dummy it is recommended
to take and maintain the spare parts in stock as listed in table 16.
