COMPUTER INSTRUCTIONS
TRAINING WITH THE TRAINING COMPUTER
The training computer is the ideal aid for effectively setting up your trai-
ning. We would recommend you speak with an expert (doctor, trainer)
and set out a training plan. Your computer will help you to check and
adhere to the guidelines. In this way you can ensure that your training
goals are being met efficiently.
Caution: the computer, and particularly the pulse monitor, are no
replacement for medical monitoring.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
1. AUTO ON/OFF
The computer turns itself on automatically as soon as the wheel gets in
motion or any key is pressed. If the training is ended or interrupted, the
computer will automatically turn itself off after approx. 8 minutes.
2. RESET
By changing the batterys or holding the MODE key for longer than 3 se-
conds the computer will repower.
3. FEATURE SELECTION
Press the MODE button to select the various functions. You can also
enter SCAN. In this mode the monitor will display the four functions TIME,
SPEED, DIST and CALORIES. Quit SCAN by pressing MODE when the
mode you like to enter is shown.
4. TIME
Press MODE button until TIME appears. Set the exercise time with SET
button. Your computer will count the total time from 0:00 to 99:59 from
exercise start to end. By beeping the computer will let you know when
your workout is done.
5. SPEED
Press MODE button until SPEED appears. Your current speed valued in
km per hour will be displayed.
6. DISTANCE
Press MODE button until DIST appears. Set the exercise distance using
SET. Your computer will count the distance from 0.00 to 99.99 km from
exercise start to end. By beeping the computer will let you know when
your workout is done.
7. CALORIES
Press MODE button until CALORIES appears. Set the exercise calories
with SET button. Your computer will count the total calories from 0 to
9999 from exercise start to end. By beeping the computer will let you
know when your workout is done.
8. ODO(METER)
Press MODE button until ODO appears. The monitor will show the total
distance which you have passed during all exercises so far. Changing the
batterys will reset the value to 0.
9. PULSE
Press MODE button until PULSE appears. Place your palms of your hands
on both of your contact pads and the monitor will show your current heart
rate in beats per minute from 40 to 206 BPM.
10. SCAN
Press MODE button until SCAN appears. The monitor will display the four
functions TIME, SPEED, DISTANCE and CALORIES. Each function will be
shown for four seconds.
11. BATTERYS
Please change the batterys as soon as the displayed characters are fli-
ckering or can‘t be read anymore.
