7.8 Disposal
Uncontrolled or incorrect opening of the coolant circuit
RISK OF INJURY AND ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE

Work on the coolant circuit and disposal of the refrigerant must be carried out by approved
refrigeration/air-conditioning system contractors.

Please strictly observe: → Page 17, section »Temperature control units with fluorinated
greenhouse gases/refrigerants« .
Improper disposal
ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE

Spilled/leaked thermal fluid must be discarded immediately and correctly. → Page 15, section
»Proper disposal of resources and consumables« .

To avoid environmental damage, have “disused” temperature control units disposed of exclu-
sively by approved waste management companies (e.g. refrigeration and air conditioning com-
panies).


greenhouse gases/refrigerants« .

als. For example: Stainless steel 1.4301 / 1.4401 (V2A), copper, nickel, FKM, Perbunan, NBR, ceram-
ic, carbon, Al-Oxid, red brass, brass, nickel-plated brass and silver solder. Proper recycling of the
temperature control unit and accessories can actively help reduce CO
2
emissions in the production
of these materials. Follow the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction when disposing material.
