Audio Transmit Level
Use the control labeled
XMIT LEVEL
(Ref. 4 on the Handset Amplifier PCBA) to adjust the handset
microphone gain level for page and party lines.
Handset Receiver Volume
Use the control labeled
RCVR VOL
(Ref. 1 on the Handset Amplifier PCBA) to adjust the handset
receiver volume level for voice signals from a party line.
Tone Volume
Use the control labeled
TONE VOL
(Ref. 3 on the Handset Amplifier PCBA) is used to adjust tone
volume level at the handset receiver.
Station Reset
Use the control labeled
RESET
(on the Base-24 PCBA) to reset the central processing unit CPU.
Other Controls
This assembly contains the following additional controls. These controls affect system performance;
therefore, only qualified GAI-Tronics personnel with the appropriate test equipment should make
adjustments. Tampering with these controls may void your warranty.
AGC Threshold
The control labeled
AGC THRESH
(Ref. 5 on the Handset Amplifier PCBA) sets the level at which
Automatic Gain Control (AGC) circuit begins to limit the handset microphone signals.
FSK Transmit Level
The control labeled
XMIT LEVEL
(Ref. 6 on the FSK Modem PCBA) adjusts the level of the frequency
shift keying (FSK Transmit LED) signal to the page line.
Sidetone Volume
The control labeled
SIDETONE
(Ref. 2 on the Handset Amplifier PCBA) adjusts the handset sidetone
(portion of the microphone audio that is fed to the handset receiver).
