4 Maintenance

Issue 03 (2019-11-15)

4.4.12 Replacing an Ambient Temperature and Humidity Sensor

Prerequisites



You have obtained an ESD wrist strap, a pair of ESD gloves, an ESD box or bag, the
cabinet door key, and a maintenance tool kit.



The new ambient temperature and humidity sensor is intact.

Procedure

Step 1

Connect the ground cable to the ESD wrist strap, and put on the ESD wrist strap and ESD
gloves.

Step 2

Remove the ambient temperature and humidity sensor cable from the UIM, as shown in
Figure 4-25.

Step 3

Remove the temperature and humidity sensor, as shown in Figure 4-26.

Hold down the button on the sensor and remove the sensor cover.

Unscrew the sensor base.

Record the positions where cables connect to the base and remove the cables.
