Configuration Roadmap
The configuration roadmap is as follows:
1.
Enable EFM OAM on Switch A and Switch B. Configure EFM OAM on Eth 0/0/1 of
Switch A to work in passive mode.
2.
Enable EFM OAM remote loopback on Switch B.
3.
Send test packets from Switch B to Switch A.
4.
Check the returned test packets on Switch B.
Data Preparation
To complete the configuration, you need the following data:

Timeout interval for EFM OAM remote loopback
l
Size, number, and sending rate of test packets

Step 1
Configure basic functions of EFM OAM.
# Enable EFM OAM globally on Switch B.
