Changing the SSH Access Password
12.1 Maintenance Suggestions
SSH is used only for advanced maintenance.
Change the preset password before using the SSH protocol.
Except for password changes, do not perform any other operations. Otherwise, the SNMP
card cannot work properly.
Damages to the SNMP card caused by operations except password change are not covered
by warranty.
Remember the new password.
To prevent brute force cracking, an account is automatically logged out if no operation is
performed within 5 minutes after command line login.
SSH v2 is adopted for secure transmission.
When the SNMP card is accessed over SSH, you need to use client software such as PuTTY.
Security information involved in Secure Shell (SSH) login is the command line user

System accounts are as follows:
−
Administrator root: Direct login is not supported. Log in as enspire and run
su

switch to the root account. The user name cannot be modified. The preset password
is Changeme, which can be modified.
−
Common user enspire: The user name cannot be modified. The preset password is
Changeme, which can be modified.
−
Common user prorunacc: The user account is used to run service programs. Login
with a password is not supported. Log in as root and run
su
to switch to the
prorunacc account.
Change the password immediately upon first SSH login.
