This topic describes how to install an OS for the G530 V2.

Use the

Huawei Server Compatibility Checker

to check OSs supported by the G530 V2.

You are advised to install an OS on an HDD.

Currently, only Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.1 supports scheduled hot swap of NVMe
SSDs.
