Web Client

This topic describes basic operations on the Huawei camera web client.

4.1 Login and Logout

You can log in to the web client using Internet Explorer (IE) and log out any time you
want.



The Microsoft Windows XP or Windows 7 operating system is supported.



Use IE8 version to access the web page. Otherwise, some functions on the web
page are unavailable.



When settings web client parameters, you cannot enter characters in single byte
character (SBC) case.



To ensure image quality during video browsing, you are advised to set the
resolution to a value ranging from 1024 x 768 to 1680 x 1050.



Click the question mark (?) at the upper right corner to view the online help.

Login

Step 1

Open IE, and type the IPC's IP address (https://192.168.0.100/ by default) in the
address box, and press

Enter

The login page is displayed, as shown in Figure 4-1.
