11.3 What can I do if the touchscreen doesn't work?
If this happens when there is water or oil on your hand or the touchscreen:
Use a dry cloth to wipe your hand and the screen. Then restart the screen to let it
automatically calibrate.
If this happens when the phone is charging through an in-car charger or non-standard
charger:
In-car or non-standard chargers may cause touchscreen failure. Use the charger that
comes with your phone for charging.
If the problem persists, contact Huawei technical support or take your phone to an authorized
Huawei service center.
11.4 Why does the screen automatically turn off?
If this happens during a call:
This is normal. Your phone has a proximity sensor that's installed near the earpiece.
When your ear or other object triggers the proximity sensor, the screen automatically
turns off. The screen turns back on when the object blocking the proximity sensor is
moved away.
Do not block the area around the earpiece with the phone cover or other objects.
If this happens when a third-party application is running:
The application may not be compatible with your phone. Uninstall the application in
question. If the problem persists, back up important data and restore your phone to its
factory settings.
If this happens when you are running multiple applications simultaneously:
Close background applications not in use. Go to the
Settings
screen, touch
Manage
apps
, touch an application then
Stop
to close it.
