Check the chain tension
(quarterly or after 170 working hours)
• The sag (x) of the chain should be 9–14 mm.
Increasing the chain tension
• If the sag of the chain is more than 14 mm, you must
increase the chain tension.
To do this, unscrew the 4 screws M 20 x 80 (4 pieces)
so that the motor can slip down the slope until the
chain sag returns to 9–14 mm.
• If the gap in the elongated hole is larger than 5 mm,
the next slot nut up in length must be used. For the
1st unit we have provided you with three longer slot
nuts, which are in a bag on the gear motor.
If the chain is so elongated that the slot nuts are not
long enough to close the gap, the chain is worn and
must be replaced with a new one.
