J Class Technical Reference
General Information
Hardware Architecture
The J Class is a mid–tower style designed to be easy to operate and upgrade. The features in this package
are designed for user access to the majority of the system’s upgradable parts (disks, memory SIMMs, and
processors) without moving the system.
Figure 1–1 shows the front view of the system. There is a Power Switch with an LED to indicate that the
system is on/off, and an LCD panel that informs users of the system’s status. In the case of a failure, the
LCD indicates the failure code.

Figure 1–2 shows a peripheral door for removable media(s). This door can be removed (snap) and
re–installed easily.
