If it is necessary to replace the display hinges, remove the display panel by removing the two Torx

M2.0×6.0 screws

(1)

that secure the panel to the top of the display enclosure, and then remove

the four Torx M2.0×6.0 screws

(2)

located at the hinge arms. This will allow the panel to be lifted

from the enclosure.

Remove the eight Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws

(1)

that secure the display hinges to the display

panel, and then remove the display hinges

(2)

. The left and right display hinges are available in

the Display Hinge Kit, spare part number 602677-001 for computers with 17.3-in displays.

If it is necessary to replace the display cable, turn the display panel upside-down and remove the

microphone

(1)

and the microphone cable

(2)

from the cable routing area. then disconnect the

cable from the connector on the back of the display panel
