Syntax Errors

Syntax Errors

Cause.

You can only specify a decimal number for a procedure or source file.

Recovery.

Recompute the number in decimal format.

Cause.

Either the specified command number is higher than the current command

number or the command number specified is out of the history buffer.

Recovery.

Use

HISTORY or H

on page 5-20 to ensure that the number being entered

is in the current history buffer. To retain more commands, use

SET HISTORYBUFFER

(see

SET

on page 5-42).

Cause.

FC 0

does not exist.

Recovery.

Choose

FC 1

for your first command or

FC -1

for the last command

entered (see

on page 5-14).

Cause.

The last address specified is lower than the first address specified.

Recovery.

Specify an address range from low address to high address.

Cause.

The scope for the procedure or source file previously selected does not

intersect with the address range specified in the last command.

Recovery.

Release the scoping restriction previously enabled with

SET SCOPEPROC *

SET SCOPESOURCE *

(see

on page 5-42). Ensure that

the address range is in the procedure or source file.
