2 Press the Up Arrow key on the keyboard several times until a close-up of
one distribution is visible.
You can make a fine adjustment of the display position with the left and
right arrow keys. The portion being viewed in the main display is
highlighted on the panorama display. You can also adjust the main
display position by placing the mouse pointer over the highlighted
panorama region, holding down the left mouse button and dragging the
highlight region to the desired area. Markers can be manipulated in the
panorama region.
You can perform this same action using the right mouse button, which has
the added feature that any marker in the highlighted area will also be
dragged along. You can access markers in either the main or panorama
display.
This allows you to set the markers a specified distance apart and move
them together—always getting statistics reported over a fixed spacing
between the markers (such as the decode window of the disk drive
under test).
NOTE You can easily re-size the histogram display (and most other windows)
as desired using the standard windows re-size techniques. In particular,
to make the Histogram display full screen size, click the maximize (
)in
the upper-right corner of the display.
Segmented Histogram Analysis (Applies to HP E1741A
or HP E1747A Software Only)
1 Select Display>Segmented-Histogram.
2 Now use the online help to find a description of this data view. This view
shows the data folded about its segment center and combined for
one-sided results.
