8-Way Configuration

The 8-way configuration uses both left and right processor carrier boards for its
processor module minimum (5), and requires both cache coherency filters.
See Figure 7-3.

The cache coherency filters are used effectively when five or more processor
modules are installed. The cache coherency filters increase the effective speed of
the processors by minimizing the need for processors on one bus (processor
carrier) to snoop the caches of processors on the other bus.
