Installing components 40

Slide the c3000 KVM module into the bay. When fully inserted, the device locks into place.

Attaching components to HP BladeSystem c3000 KVM module

For local access to the enclosure:

Connect a monitor to the video connector on the c3000 KVM module.

Connect a USB keyboard and mouse to the USB connectors on the c3000 KVM module. The USB
connectors are interchangeable.

To connect the c3000 KVM module to an HP Server Console Switch or an HP IP Console Switch:

Connect the optional USB interface adapter to the video connector and to one of the USB connectors on
the c3000 KVM module.
