To Quickly Set Up Your Printer
To quickly set up your print server and system for
network printing, follow these steps:

Run the HP JetDirect CD-ROM’s installation utility.

Select Install Network Printer and follow the
instructions on the screen.

When prompted, print a test page to verify printer
setup.
To View Documents on the CD-ROM
Several HP JetDirect print server documents, including
the HP JetDirect Print Server Administrator’s Guide ,
are provided on the CD-ROM in Adobe Acrobat
Reader format (*.pdf files). These documents can be
accessed using the CD-ROM utility.

Run the CD-ROM utility.

Select View Documentation . The Acrobat Reader
will run and will display the HP JetDirect Documenta-
tion home page.

Click on the document that you want to view.
For other supported operating systems, you can
access the documentation files directly from the
\manuals directory on the CD-ROM. The Adobe
Acrobat Reader for your system must be installed and
available on your system. If you have difficulty viewing
documents, upgrade to the latest released version of
Acrobat Reader.
