BY bypass option, used as optimisation in larger
plants or with long line runs. The valve produces a
short circuit (bypass) in the collector circuit so that
no cold medium can get into the consumers.
Off (0) = Off
On (1) = [TBY] TKV frost protection / start-up load
reduction
This function is used for protecting the buffer
temperature. The valve is only opened again if
there is a higher temperature at the reference
sensor (TKV / TBY) than the temperature at the
storage tank sensor bottom TUx
Bypass ON if [TBY] TKV > TUx + DIFF off

11.16. High temperature discharge (HTE option)
The high temperature discharge is used for preventing stagnation in the plant. This function can be activated
with the HTE high temperature discharge parameter option (08-110). By active cooling or temperature dissipation or
indirectly by discharging the consumers, the temperature at the collector should reach the value for collector
protection TKOprot (08-010) as rarely as possible.
