13.1.4. WWL hot water charging option
If the solar energy is not sufficient, the consumer can be recharged with a heat source
(e.g. with an external boiler). This function is activated with the option WWL (08-100).
A time program on the control module (special time program recharging) enables the
recharging by time and sets it to the particular required temperature.
If the temperature on the storage tank top sensor is less than the current reference value minus hysteresis (08-063),
recharging is enabled or heat requested. If the current reference value is exceeded on the storage tank top sensor,
recharging is blocked or the heat request is terminated.
To prevent recharging switching on when solar charging is active, the consumer reference value for recharging is
reduced by a definable value (reference value reduction with high solar yield 08-072) depending on the average
solar output. Cooling is permitted down to the minimum comfort value TxOsetpred. The reference value for
recharging is obtained as follows.
Normal : TxOsetp_WWL = TxOsetp (08-062)
Reduced: TxOsetp_WWL = TxOsetp_red = reference value TxOsetp (08-062)
