2.4 

Installation of the cladding and boiler 

controller

1. 

Hook the right side walls (10.x, Fig. 07) on the angle 

rail (see detail A).

2.  Hook the left side walls (11.x) on the angle rail (see 

detail A).

3.  Route the condensate drain hose (12) through the 

side wall.

4.  Hook the rear walls (13.1/13.2) onto the folded edges 

of the side wall (10.2/11.2).

 - CompactGas (2800-4200):

6 folded edges of side wall

5.  Route the burner cable (14) with the burner connec-

tion plug (14a) through the prepared bore hole (14b) 

in the side wall.

 - The burner must be connected to the boiler with the 

standard plug connection.

 - The burner cable must be installed so that the plug 

connection has to be disconnected in order to swing 

out the burner. 

6. 

Mount the boiler controller (15) and wire up the im

-

mersion sensor (16) and burner cable (14), see chap-

ter “2.4.1 Installation of boiler controller”, page 12.

WARNING

Capillaries must not be folded or kinked

7.  Insert 2 insulating mats (17.1/17.2) (to prevent ver

-

tical circulation of air) longitudinally on the left and 

right.

8. 

Mount cladding covers (18.1/18.2/18.3) (note the or

-

der).

9.  Attach C-clips (19) to the top of the front side walls 

(10.1/11.1).

10. Installing cladding covers (20):

 - Position cladding covers.

 - Secure cladding cover with 2 self-tapping screws 

Ø 4.8 x 50 (see detail B).

 - Align the cladding cover using the height-adjustable 

bracket (21).

11. Installing door cladding:

 - Fasten 4 or 8 threaded bolts (22) with nut and two 

washers to the boiler door (see detail C).

 - Push insulating mats (23.1/23.2) onto the boiler 

door.

 -

Cut a recess for the burner flange out of the insulat

-

ing mat (23.3).

To achieve continuous thermal insulation be-

tween the boiler front and burner, the recess 

in the insulating mat (23.3) must have the size 

and shape of the burner flange.

 - Push the insulating mat (23.3) into the recess be-

tween the insulating mats (23.1/23.2).

 - Install door cladding (24 or 24.1/24.2).

 - CompactGas (1800-4200):

First install lower part of the 2-part door cladding.

12. 

Affix  number  plate  and,  where  applicable,  mount 

manual holder (25) on the side.

13. Install side shutter, see “2.4.2 Installation of side shut-

ters”, page 13.
