Liquid fertiliser
The machine is equipped with liquid fertiliser to
place the fertiliser in the seed furrow.

Centrifugal pump
The pump is directly driven by the tractor hy-
draulics.
The pump must be supplied with sufficient oil to
achieve the desired flow rate.
The pump can be operated continuously with 80-
120 bar (3000 psi).

Filling the hopper

Connect the hose for filling with the corre -
sponding quick release coupling (3).
¾
Fill the hopper with an external pump.
Draining the hopper

Connect a hose with the corresponding quick
release coupling (1).
¾
Drain the hopper using the pump of the ma-
chine.
NOTE
¾
Switch off the pump as soon as the hopper
is empty.
Dry running will damage the pump!
A small residual quantity remains on the bottom
of the hopper.
¾
Remove the closure (blind cap) on the bottom
of the hopper to drain the hopper completely.
Flow meter
The standard flow meter (4) is suitable up to
55 l/min (approx. 15 gpm).
Filter
¾
Check the filter (2) daily and replace it if nec -
essary. A soiled filter may cause fluctuations
when placing the fertiliser.
