Function 8030NTC
Module 8030NTC is the "heart" of Network Clock Device 8030HEPTA/NCD. The complete
LINUX operating system which provides all functions (e.g. NTP, Web-GUI etc.) runs on this
module. By means of the chosen network time protocol (NTP or PTP) the module-internal
crystal will be adjusted, thus a highly-precise time base for Module 8030NTS/M and, if neces-
sary, further signal generations created.
3.3
Function 8030NTS/M
Module 8030NTS/M acts as network time server. A complete LINUX operating system which
provides all functions (e.g. NTP, Web-GUI etc.) runs on this module. Module 8030NTS/M will
be adjusted by the time information provided by Module 8030NTC and provides this time in-
formation to all activated network time services.
3.4
LCD-Display with Pushbutton
System settings cannot be changed via the pushbutton nor the display. The display allows the
readout of important system and operation parameters directly at the device, even without
WebGUI access.
Update of the data in both the display and the WebGUI is subject to specific refreshing cycles.
The display indicates if the refreshing cycle is not completed yet.
