Function Principle

This chapter describes the function principle of the Network Clock Device 8030HEPTA/NCD
and the internal relations between the different functional groups.

Block Diagram

Time Information

Module 8030NTC provides the time information as well as the particular synchroniza-
tion status to Module 8030NTS/M. With this time and status information the NTP ser-
vice running on Module 8030NTS/M and if necessary further signal generations and
network protocols are going to be synchronized.
