Network Clock Device 8030HEPTA/NCD
The Network Clock Device 8030HEPTA/NCD consists of a Network Time Client 8030NTC and
a Network Time Server 8030NTS/M. Module 8030NTC acts as time source for the application,
module 8030NTS/M as
NTP Stratum 1 Server
or as
PTP Grandmaster

The Network Clock Device 8030HEPTA/NCD is integrated into a 1U/84HP 19" rack and char-
acterized by its easy and simple operation. Some of these practice-oriented functionalities are
e.g.:

Complete parameterisation via protected WebGUI access
All required settings for operation can be executed via a password protected WebGUI.
•
LCD-Display and Status-LEDs in the front panel
The LCD-Display and the Status-LEDs make rapidly and easily substantial information
for commissioning, on the operating status and for support matters available if a prob-
lem occurs, even without WebGUI access.
•
Automatic switch-over of summer/winter time
(initial setting required)
After initial commissioning there is no user intervention for a correct summer/winter
time changeover for the following years required.
•
Automatic handling of the leap second
In case of announcing a leap second via the sync source of Network Clock Device
8030NTS/NCD, this leap second will automatically be inserted.
•
Customized extensions possible
The new designed housing concept allows customized system extensions for addi-
tional signal outputs (processed ex-works) easily and fast.
