7 — 5 MINIMUM WORKING HEIGHT
Before using RG500 Auto/Manual Rope Grab check a minimum space clearance below the user’s feet as necessary,
to prevent any collision with the structure or the ground (Fig. 18,19).
For allowed minimum clearance see the table below:

MAXIMUM ALLOWED LENGTH OF THE ANCHORAGE LINE IS 50 METERS.
For lenghts not shown in the table above must be used the closest higher value; e.g. 27m flexible anchor line
must use the same air clearance as the anchore line 30m (1035943).
7 — 6 SUPPLIED FLEXIBLE ANCHOR LINE
For flexible anchor lines, where is missing anchorage loop and karabiner (1035940 & 1035939) must be use the
figure-eight knot (see Fig.13a) and karabiner (conforming EN 362). For lower end of flexible anchor line must be
use simple knot with sufficient length (min 0.1m) of rope under this knot (see Fig.13b). Total length of this flexible
anchorage line must not exceed 50 meters.
8 - PERIODIC INSPECTION
This equipment must be inspected at least once a year. A competent person, properly trained and qualified, must in-
spect this equipment in compliance with these instructions and appropriate details of the inspection must be recorded.
At each periodic inspection, complete the form Appendix number V and attach a new inspection label with the next
inspection date.
The frequency of examination shall be increased according to the applicable regulations.
Warranty is void if periodic inspections are not performed and tracked as described above.
If you detect any failure or damage to your product, or if you have any doubts regarding its safety, the PPE must
be immediately withdrawn from service and returned to the manufacturer or an authorized service centre for
inspection or disposal.
