Introduction
Powering the Hybrid LT DVR
Honeywell recommends that you apply power to the Rapid Eye DVR through an
uninterruptible power supply (UPS). For more information, see
Powering Up on page 31 .
Caution In Europe, a UPS is required to meet EN50130-4 Euro Norm.
Configuring the Hybrid LT DVR
Whether you plan to operate the DVR onsite (using LocalView) or remotely (using View
software through a network connection), you need to do basic DVR configuration with
LocalView.
Note For remote operations using only a dial-up connection, you do not need to
configure the connection with LocalView.
