Handling tips
Gear Selection Table (When engine speed is 3,000 rpm)
Adjust the handlebar height to a comfortable position (waist height
for normal tilling).
If the machine will not move forward, release the main clutch lever
and press down on the handlebar to raise the rotary little and pull
the tiller backward slightly, then raise the handlebar and pull the
main clutch lever to work.
Stop the tines before crossing gravel drives, walks, or roads. Stay
alert for hidden hazards or traffic.
Stop the engine immediately if the tiller vibrates abnormally. Check
the tiller for damage or loose parts, and repair or replace them
before using the tiller again.
Turning:
Release the main clutch lever and lower the engine speed.
Move the differential lock lever to the UNLOCK position.
Set the gearshift lever to the 1 position.
Press the handlebar to raise the rotary little, and pull the main clutch
lever and turn the tiller.
After turning, release the main clutch lever and move the gearshift
lever to the Tine/wheel engaged position to work.
Tiller speed applies when standard tires are used.
