Smart Entry Remote Battery Strength
If the battery life in your remote transmitter is weak, a beep sounds and the
POWER button indicator flashes. A message appears in the driver information
interface, with information on how to start the power system.
1. Touch the back of the remote
transmitter to the POWER button
while the indicator is flashing.
2. With the brake pedal or clutch pedal
pressed, press the POWER button
within 10 seconds.
Overheating
If the power system overheats, you will see the message, “High Temperature.
Power Reduced” appear on the driver information interface.
Immediately park the vehicle in a safe place. Put the vehicle in Park (P) and
set the parking brake. Turn off all accessories and turn on the hazard warning
lights. Keep the power mode on and resume driving if the message disappears.
If the message does not disappear or reappears, contact an authorized Honda
Clarity Electric dealer for repairs.
Keep the hood closed while waiting for the power system to cool down.
Opening the hood will cause the radiator fan to stop, making it take longer for
the power system to cool down.
