Unscrew cylinder locking knob and remove.
Slide out cylinder housing. Remove and separate
piston and piston spring.

Make sure to completely remove all material
from the inside of the piston chamber by
scrubbing with the brush.
Use the brush to clean out the pick-up tube
port and the return port.
Be sure to clear the vent hole with a toothpick
or straightened paper clip or a vacuum can
build up in the container and cause damage to
the sprayer.
Never reassemble piston and cylinder without
lubricating first.
Remove any remaining residue from the
components with the cleaning brush and
the appropriate cleaning solution.
