Screw mounting
For mounting the passage sensor using screws and plugs,
please proceed as follows:
•
Choose a desired site for installation.
Make sure that no electricity or similar lines run in the
wall at this location!
•
Slightly press the catch of the device and remove the
electronic unit

from the cover

see fig. 3
).
•
Remove the batteries from the battery compartment
(C)
.
•
Use a pen to mark the positions of the four bore holes
of the passage sensor to the wall
(see fig. 4)
.
•
Use an appropriate drill to make the holes as illustrated.
If you are working with a stone wall, drill 5 mm holes
and insert the plugs supplied. If you are working with a
wooden wall, you can pre-drill 1.5 mm holes to make
screws easier to insert.
•
Use the screws and plugs supplied to fasten the pas-
sage sensor (
see fig. 5
).
•
Re-insert the batteries into the battery compartment
making sure that they are right way around (
see fig. 6
).
•
Do not yet place the cap
