Restore factory settings
9 Restore factory settings
The factory settings of the device can be restored. If
you do this, you will lose all your settings.
To restore the factory settings of the device, please proceed
as follows:
•
Slightly press the catch on the side of the device and
remove the electronic unit

to
open the battery compartment cover

).
•
Remove a battery.
•
Insert the battery ensuring that the polarity is correct
(
see fig. 6
) while pressing and holding down the sys-
tem button

for 4 seconds at the same time, until
the LED quickly starts flashing orange (
see fig. 7
).
•
Release the system button again.
•
Press and hold down the system button again for
4 seconds, until the LED lights up green.
•
Release the system button to finish the procedure.
The device will perform a restart. After the restart, you can
again integrate your device into your Homematic IP system.
