3. General description
3.1. Use
The San.iQ cut V is used to pump domestic waste water
containing faeces. The San.iQ cut V is suitable for disposal
from up to four sanitary units. In practice, this could mean
from a toilet plus a washbasin, a urinal or a bidet and a
shower in rooms below the backflow level of the sewer
(basement or cellar rooms) or without a sufficient fall to
the next sewer collection pipe.
The stainless steel cutter system of the built-in pump reli-
ably shreds faeces and toilet paper. A line with a diameter
of DN 32 or DN 40 for the pressure pipe to the next sewer
pipe is therefore sufficient.
It is essential to ensure that no sanitary products,
moist toilet paper, paper towels, solvents, chemicals,
leftovers or fats as well as non-cuttable materials
such as glass, wood, metal (razor blades, bottle
caps), etc. enter into the lifting unit. If they do not get
cut by the cutting unit they will remain in the collec-
tion tank and the pump might get blocked.
The flow rate in the pressure line must be at least
0.7m/s.
3.2. Use types
The sewage lifting systems are designed for intermittent
duty S3 30%.
3.3. Structure
The lifting systems are made of a non-rotting, water, gas
and odour-proof plastic container with a single-stage rota-
ry pump. The containers have different connections:
