2.4 Safety equipment
Emergency stop button
The machine FKS 315-1500 E is equipped with an
EMERGENCY STOP button (A, Fig. 3).

In emergencies, press the EMERGENCY STOP button
and the machine will stop immediately. The power supply
is switched off or the drives are mechanically dis
-
connected. After the emergency stop button has been
pressed, it must be unlocked by turning it in the direction
of the arrow so that it can be switched on again.
Motor protection switch
There is a thermal protection switch in the motor of the
Panel saw, which switches off the motor automatically in
case of thermal overload.
After eliminating the cause of the overload and waiting
for the engine to cool down completely, the engine can
be restarted.
Workpiece kickback protection

If necessary, the workpiece kickback guard can be
mounted on the sliding carriage to prevent the workpiece
from being knocked back.
3 Intended use
The Panel saw FKS 315-1500 E is used for sawing with
versatile adjustable angles of boards and strips. The
processing of solid wood, chipboard, panels and profiles
is possible. In compliance with the safety instructions,
the conditions of use for the saw blade used must be ob
-
served. Firewood must not be processed. The machine
must be operated with a suitable extraction system. It is
suitable for private use, not for industrial use. Proper use
also includes compliance with all information in this ma
-
nual. Any use beyond the intended use or otherwise is
considered misuse.
For structural and technical changes on the panel saw the

Claims of any kind due to damage due to improper use are
excluded.
