11.4 Remaining risk factors
Even if they meet all the safety rules and if used properly, the following residual risks are noted:
 Risk of injury to the hands / fingers during operation.
 Danger from inhalation of toxic wood dust in chemically treated workpieces.
 Risk of injury from contact with live electrical components.
 Risk of injury due to breakage or being thrown out of the drill, especially under heavy
congestion.
 Hearing damage unless precautions have been taken by the user of hearing protection.
 Risk of injury to the eye by flying debris.
These risks can be minimized if all safety regulations are applied, the machine is properly
maintained and serviced the machine as intended and is operated by properly trained personnel.

12 ASSEMBLY
12.1 Preparatory activities
12.1.1 Delivery content
Please check the product contents immediately after receipt for any eventual transport
damage or missing parts. Claims from transport damage or missing parts must be placed
immediately after initial machine receipt and unpacking before putting the machine into
operation. Please understand that later claims cannot be accepted anymore.
12.1.2 Workplace requirements
Select a suitable place for the machine.
Observe the safety requirements of Chapter 11 and the dimensions of the machine in the
technical details.
The place chosen must guarantee a suitable connection to the electrical grid and a
connection to a 6-8 bar compressed air supply system (only BBM 35PNEU).
12.1.3 Preparation of the surface
N O T E
The use of paint thinners, gasoline, corrosive chemicals or abrasive cleaners will result in
damage to the surface!
Therefore:
When cleaning, use only mild detergent
12.2 Assembly
12.2.1 Fixing the machine
The frame of the machine consists of aluminium profiles. Slide screws with the head into
the profiles. Stick the screws through the holes and tighten them to fix the machine (see
11.2.2 Fixing the machine on the stand).
When you drill the holes, be aware that the distance of the midpoints of the aluminium
profiles is 222 mm. The holes need to have the same distance from each other.
