MORSØ Notch Cutting Machine

Machine Description
PICTURE D-2:
The MORSØ-NFX is constructed as a compact machine with a sturdy frame (1) with built in
lever system (2).
The cutting assembly is situated at the top of the machine.
In the slide frame (3), fitted at the cross (4), the knife block (5) is moved up and down. The
cross (4) runs in the guidings of the table.
The knives (6) fitted on the knife block (5) cut not only the notch but also cope the corners to
complete the joint.
The forward movement of the knife block (5) is made manually.

The stile is placed on the table (7) against the fixed fences (8). The setting of the adjustable
fence (9) to the width of the stile is made by pushing this fence (9) towards the fixed fences
(8) until there is a distance of about 5 mm between the stile and the fixed fences (8).
PICTURE D-2:
The cock-bead stops (10) are adjusted to the required cutting depth of the notch.
The adjustment of the sliding longitudinal stops (11) is done by means of a template of the
stile.
MORSØ-NLFX can be fitted with nose knives from 12 to 26 mm.
MORSØ-NSFX can be fitted with nose knives from 6 to 20 mm.
