5. The appliance cannot be operated with the use of an external
timer or a separate remote control.
6. Do not use the appliance if the screen, the juice collector or the
cover with inlet is damaged or has visible cracks.
7. Clean device surfaces that come into contact with food as
described in Section 8 Cleaning and maintenance.
8. Attention ! Warning against improper use of the appliance.
The screen blades are sharp. Handle the screen with care,
particularly while removing and washing the screen and while
emptying the juice container.
9. Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 5
minutes. If the appliance has been running for 5 minutes, turn it
off and let it cool down for at least 5 minutes before you operate
it again. After 5 cycles consisting of 5 minutes of operation and
5 minutes of pause each, take a longer pause of 30 minutes
before you use the appliance again.
10. Always turn the appliance off before replacing accessories or
reaching for any moving component.
11. Always disconnect the appliance from the power source before
leaving it unattended and before assembly, disassembly or
cleaning.
12. Read the entire instruction manual before you start using the appliance.
13. Connect the appliance to a 220-240 V~ 50/60 Hz alternating current mains.
14. To prevent electrocution, do not immerse the plug, the power cord or the motor-
housing base in water or other liquids.
15. Do not hang the power cord over a table or sink edge.
16. Do not place the appliance near sources of heat: gas water heaters, electric
cookers.
17. This appliance is designed for household use. Do not use the product for
purposes other than its intended use.
