The items required to complete your new Batfly 250 FPV Quad Racer will vary depending on which version you have.
The products listed in this section have been tested with the Batfly 250 FPV Quad Racer to ensure the best performance
and plug and play compatibility.
If you choose to use different product brands, make sure that those products are equivalent in specification to
those listed to ensure compatibility and the best performance.

LiPo Flight Battery:
We recommend using a 4S LiPo flight battery for the best performance, although a 3S LiPo
battery can be used, but the Quad Racer will not fly as fast or perform as well. The flight battery dimensions
should not exceed 102 (L) x 35.5 (W) x 22mm (H).
Transmitter and Receiver:
The Receiver-Ready and Kit versions require a 5-channel or more transmitter and
matching receiver. Using a 5-channel transmitter and receiver will allow you change Flight Modes during flight.
Ideally, the receiver should be small and lightweight, and have horizontal pins and a single antenna for ease of
installation, although a receiver with vertical pins and dual antennas can be used.
Powering the FPV Receiver Monitor:
The FPV Receiver Monitor is designed to be powered by a 3S 1500 to
2200mAH LiPo battery with an XH balance connector. To ensure compatibility, the LiPo battery you choose should
feature an XH balance connector to match the FPV Receiver Monitor Power Input Connector.
FPV Equipment:
The Kit version can be assembled with or without FPV equipment. This is ideal for those users
that might want to fly and race the Batfly 250 Quad Racer, but don’t want an FPV version. However, if you want to
install FPV equipment in the Kit version, we strongly recommend purchasing and installing the same replacement
FPV equipment used in the Ready-to-Fly and Receiver-Ready versions to ensure plug and play compatibility.
* For extra precaution, we suggest using a programmable LiPo Battery Voltage Alarm that can be mounted on the Quad
Racer, which allows you to program the alarm to sound at a higher cutoff voltage value to give you more time to safely land
before the battery voltage drops too low and results in a crash.
**The FindIt! Locater plugs into the Quad Racer and can emit an audible alert to help you find your Quad Racer should it be lost.
