This Troubleshooting Guide has been provided to help you diagnose and solve some of the more common problems
that you might encounter with your Batfly 250 FPV Quad Racer.
If you cannot solve a problem using this Troubleshooting Guide, please contact our service department using the
information in the Service and Support section on page 2.
Transmitter Does Not Turn ON:
• Transmitter batteries not installed correctly - Reinstall transmitter batteries (Page 11)
• Transmitter batteries depleted - Install new transmitter batteries (Page 11)
• Transmitter is damaged - Contact Service Department (Page 2)
Quad Racer Does Not Power Up:
• Your LiPo battery is depleted - Charge your LiPo battery
• Your LiPo battery is damaged - Replace your LiPo battery
• Motors not armed - Arm motors (Page 13)
• Damaged electronic component - Contact Service Department (Page 2)
Quad Racer is Difficult to Control:
• Using Normal or Sport Flight Mode - Use Flight Mode based on your skill level (Page 16)
• You are hovering too low in the ground effect - Hover no less than 3 feet off the ground
• You are over-controlling - Use smaller, gentler control inputs
• Quad Racer is out of trim - Flight trim Quad Racer (Page 15)
Quad Racer Seems Under-Powered or Won’t Take Off:
• Propellers installed incorrectly - Check and reinstall propellers (Page 11)
• Damaged propeller and/or motor - Replace damaged component (Page 20)
• Your LiPo battery is depleted - Charge your LiPo battery
• Your LiPo battery is damaged - Replace your LiPo battery
Quad Racer Vibrates Excessively:
• Damaged propeller and/or motor - Replace damaged component (Page 20)
Motors Won’t Arm:
• Flight Controller not receiving low throttle signal - Check throttle control range using CC3D Flight Controller
Software (pages 20 and 21).
• Not following proper arming procedure - Follow arming procedure (Page 13)
• Arming procedure changed in CC3D Flight Controller Software - follow programmed arming procedure (Pages 20 and 21)
• Damaged electronic component - Contact Service Department (Page 2)
No Picture on FPV Receiver Monitor:
• Lens cover on FPV camera - Remove lens cover from over FPV camera
• FPV Receiver Monitor and Video Transmitter frequency not linked - Perform automatic frequency scan (page 19)
• LiPo battery balance connector not plugged in - Plug in fully charged LiPo battery balance connector (page 19)
• FPV antennas not installed or loose - Check antenna connections
• Damaged component - Contact Service Department (Page 2)
Remote LED Switching Function Doesn’t Work:
• Available only on Ready-to-Fly version - Use manual LED switching for Kit or Receiver-Ready version (page 17)
• LED ON/OFF Switch in ON position - LED ON/OFF Switch should be in OFF position (page 17)
