ConTRoLLInG ThE LED LIGhTS
The Batfly 250 FPV Quad Racer features a high-intensity LED headlight and tail lights with remote color switching.
This allows you to turn the LED lights ON and OFF and change the color of the LED tail light during flight (Ready-to-Fly
version only). If you have the Receiver-Ready or Kit version, remote color switching is not supported; however, you
can turn the LED lights ON and OFF and switch the color of the LED tail light manually, using the LED ON/OFF Switch.
ConTRoLLInG ThE LED LIGhTS (READY-To-FLY VERSIon)
1) Verify that the LED ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
The LED ON/OFF switch must be in the OFF position for remote color
switching to function.
ConTRoLLInG ThE LED LIGhTS (RECEIVER-READY AnD kIT VERSIonS)
If you have the Receiver-Ready or Kit version, remote LED color switching is not supported; however, you can still
select the desired Color Mode manually.
1) Move the LED ON/OFF switch into the ON position. The LED lights will turn
ON. To select one of seven different tail light colors, cycle the LED ON/OFF
switch between OFF and ON, then leave in the ON position.
USInG ThE FPV SYSTEm
The Batfly 250 FPV Quad Racer features a 1000TVL color HD camera with 5.8GHz Video Transmitter (Ready-to-Fly
and Receiver-Ready versions) and a 7” TFT color LCD Receiver Monitor (Ready-to-Fly version only). The FPV Receiver
Monitor features One-Touch Automatic Frequency Scanning to find the best frequency for the most reliable picture.
Powered by an external 3S LiPo battery (available separately), the FPV Receiver Monitor can be used for hours on
a single charge. A CNC-machined aluminum adjustable mounting arm provides a solid method to install the FPV
Receiver Monitor onto the transmitter and adjust the viewing angle to suit.
This section details using the 1000TVL color HD camera and the 5.8GHz Video Transmitter included with the
Ready-to-Fly and Receiver-Ready versions, in addition to the FPV Receiver Monitor included with the Ready-to-Fly
version. If you have the Kit version with different FPV equipment, or if you have the Receiver-Ready version and you’re
using a different FPV Receiver Monitor or Video Goggles, please use the reference material included with your FPV
equipment for information about its proper use.
2) Continuously cycle the LED Mode Switch UP and DOWN to select the
desired Color Mode. Select from OFF or ON with one of seven different tail
light colors.
InSTALLInG ThE VIDEo AnTEnnA (READY-To-FLY AnD RECEIVER-READY VERSIonS)
1) Carefully thread the 5.8GHz Clover Leaf Video Transmitter Antenna onto
the antenna mount and tighten it gently.
