Cleaning
Important:
Do not wash discs or any component of this machine in
a dishwasher.
Do not wash feed head, disc or any aluminium parts in
dishwashing liquid since this may cause corrosion. Use
only mild detergents suitable for aluminium.
Do not use solvents for cleaning the machine.
Attention:
Disconnect electrical supply.
Do not rely on switches fitted to the machine.
The machine should be cleaned immediately after use.
– Raise pusher plate and turn it to the left to the resting position.
– Open lock handle, remove feed head and rinse in warm water.
– Remove and clean cutting tool.
Note: If the dicing grid was used, let it remain in the chamber
and push the remaining product through with the nylon
brush.
– Remove dicing grid and / or ejector plate and rinse in warm
water.
– Turn pusher plate to the right and lower it into the chamber.
– Place a dish under the ejector chute and clean pusher plate and
chamber with warm water.
– Replace ejector plate and feed head
– Store tools on the wall rack.
6.
Maintenance
To be checked each week:
Note: The following items should be checked without cutting
tools or ejector plate mounted.
– That the machine stops when the pusher plate is raised.
– That the machine does not start with the feed head removed
and the pusher plate lowered over the knife chamber.
– Unplug the machine and check that the electrical cord is ok and
does not have any cracks.
– That knives and grating plates are intact and sharp.
– That the pusher plate shaft has sufficient grease.
Note: If not, use a drop of machine oil, not cooking oil.
