Trap - A female piping thread screw connection is provided. Dimension “L” in Fig. 7. should be
sufficiently longer than the negative fan pressure at the drain connection (50 mm to 100 mm depends on
the return air duct design). Always fill the trap with water.

Field Insulation
Insulate the duct flange, the refrigerant piping connection and the condensate drain connection
adequately, as shown in Fig. 8.
