Operation times
are long.
z
The remaining time indicator automatically
adjusts and may change during operations.
This is not a malfunction.
Did you add excessive amounts of detergent?
z
When excessive foaming occurs, operations
may be prolonged for up to 15 minutes, as
an operation to reduce foaming is performed
automatically.
Refer to the detergent indicator to determine the
appropriate amount of detergent.
(P. 26, 27)
Is the [HOT WASH] function set?
z
When [HOT WASH] is in operation, the
operation time may increase automatically.
This is not a malfunction.
For details on the [HOT WASH] function, see
(P. 65)
.
The operation does
not finish at the
set DELAY START
time.
z
Depending on the volume and type of laundry
and the amount of water supplied, the actual
operation finish time may be later than the set
DELAY START time.
For details on the DELAY START setting, see
(P. 58)
.
Drying operation
times are long.
Is the drying load large?
Reduce the number of items. Drying thick items and
thin items separately will reduce the operation times.
Is the dry filter clogged?
z
A clogged dry filter may prolong drying times
or cause operations to finish while the laundry
is only half dry.
Clean the dry filter after every drying operation.
(P. 73, 74)
Is the tap open?
z
Tap water is used, even during dry-only
operations. Lack of a water supply may
prolong drying times or cause operations to
finish while the laundry is only half dry.
Open the tap before starting the operation. In
addition, make sure that a water outage has not
occurred and that the water supply pipe, supply
hose, and drain hose are not frozen.
(P. 97)
Is the water supply inlet’s filter clogged?
z
If the filter is clogged, the water supply will not
be smooth.
Remove any debris.
(P. 77)
Is the drain hose installed properly?
z
If proper drainage is not possible, proper
drying operation will not be possible.
Install the drain hose properly.
(Installation
Instructions)
• Clean the drain hose and drain outlet, and
remove any lint or debris.
(P. 78)
• Make sure that the hose is not pinched or frozen.
• Install the hose so that the end of the hose is not
submerged in water.
• Install the drain hose so that it is not elevated
more than 10 cm above the ground at any point.
• When using an extension hose, make sure the
hose does not exceed 2 m in length.
Is the water supply temperature 30°C or higher?
Is the water being supplied from a water
heater?
z
If the water supply temperature is 30°C or
higher, the dehumidification process is less
effective and drying times will be longer.
Make sure that the water supply temperature
during drying operation is less than 30°C.
Is the ambient temperature of the installation
location 5°C or lower or 30°C or higher?
z
If the temperature is too low or too high, drying
times will be longer.
This is not a malfunction.
Has the laundry been spun?
z
Drying insufficiently spun laundry may prolong
drying times or cause operations to finish while
the laundry is only half dry.
Run drying operations after spinning the laundry.
