Notes on the [SILENT] program
z
The fan rotation speed is lowered for quieter operation. The heater also operates at a lower level.
(The operation time is longer than the [FUZZY] program, and more wrinkles will result.)
Notes on shrinking
Some clothes will shrink simply from drying after getting wet or washed, but using a dryer can shrink the clothes
further.
z
Clothes do not usually shrink further after the first washing and drying operation.
To reduce shrinking
Items that shrink easily
Items that do not shrink easily
z
The degree of shrinking depends on the materials, fabric, stitching, and
processing of the item.
(Example: The ribbing of wool or cotton sweaters shrinks easily.)
Sweaters
Wool sweaters,
skirts, etc.
Socks made of chemical
fiber mixtures, etc.
Cotton or mixed
fabric items, etc.
Polyester items,
etc.
Sports socks
Shirts
Blouses
z
Before drying, check the
washing instructions and
textile labels on the clothes.
z
Use the [STATIC DRY]
program for items with dry-
clean labels.
z
Dry laundry in sunshine
beforehand. (You can finish
drying using the dryer.)
To remove pollen
z
Run the [DRY] > [FUZZY] program for 10 minutes.
z
Keep the drying load under 2 k
g
. (The effect will be reduced with loads larger than 2 k
g
.)
z
Do not run the operation for laundry that cannot be dried.
