Cleaning

4.3 Cleaning

NOTICE

If the instrument becomes dirty, wipe the instrument clean

with a soft cloth moistened with water or a neutral detergent.

Never use solvents such as benzene, alcohol, acetone, ether, ketone, thinners

or gasoline. Doing so could deform and discolor the instrument.

IMPORTANT

Keep the the facing core surfaces of the jaws clean by gently wiping them with a soft

dry cloth.

Dirt on the facing core surfaces of the jaws can adversely affect the measurement accuracy.

Wipe the LCD gently with a soft, dry cloth.
