Operating Precautions

IMPORTANT

Do not allow any foreign object to be caught between

the facing core surfaces of the jaws.

Do not scratch the facing core surfaces of the jaws.

Do not touch the facing core surfaces of the jaws

with your fingers.

Do not insert any foreign object into the gap of the

jaws.

Do not drop the instrument.

Do not subject the instrument to any shock.

Doing so may adversely affect the measurement accuracy

and open/close operation.

Clamp the instrument around only one conductor. Clamping the

instrument around two or more of conductors in a bundle prevents

the instrument from measuring any current regardless of whether

the measurement target is a single-phase or three-phase circuit.
