CLEANING THE BARBEQUE
1.
After operation remove the griddle plate, when
cool, and either clean in the dishwasher or the
sink with warm soapy water.
2.
To remove excess fats from inside the appliance
we recommend boiling a jug of water and carefully
pouring approximately 1.0 litre down the inside(s)
of the appliance with the griddle plate removed,
but with the ceramic glass cover and the front and
rear glass supports still in place.
3.
Carefully reassemble the appliance after cleaning
ensuring that the glass supports are correctly
positioned over the acorn nuts, the curved
ceramic glass is supported by the two glass
supports, the catchment draw is in place and the
griddle is installed and located on the acorn nuts.
NOTE:
ONLY PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE WITH THE CERAMIC COVER STILL IN PLACE
as the ceramic burner should not come in contact with excess water. The water, fats
and oils will then collect in the catchment draw underneath the appliance.
CAUTION:
should be exercised when removing the catchment drawer while it is still
full of hot water. We recommend that the water in the catchment draw be allowed
to cool before disposal. The catchment draw can then be placed in a dishwasher for
cleaning, or wash in the sink with warm soapy water.
The curved ceramic glass and the glass supports can be removed and placed in a
dishwasher for further cleaning or hand wash in the sink. The ceramic glass can be
further cleaned using a commercial ceramic glass cleaner and a soft cloth together
with a razor scraper where necessary
