OMNIKEY 5121 Ethernet Encoder – Session Status
The encoder session status information is maintained by the OMNIKEY 5121 Ethernet Encoder Utility
for each currently installed encoder device. This status information is displayed in the
Reader Status
block of the main window.
In the example shown below the
OMNIKEY 5x21 LAN B1234567 0
encoder device is shown to be in
the
Connected
state, i.e., the encoder session has been successfully established and is currently
being maintained by the OMNIKEY 5121 Ethernet Driver.
As the encoder selection within the
Select Encoder
drop-down list is changed the utility application
will update the information displayed in the
Reader Status
block, reflecting the last known status for
the currently selected encoder device.
To update the last known status information click
Refresh
. The OMNIKEY 5121 Ethernet Encoder
Utility will poll the currently selected encoder device and update the displayed status information.
