3.3. Installation and fixing (fig. 5 and 6)
The tree-point-belt of a vehicle is made of 4 parts: the lap belt (O), the diagonal belt (N), the belt
latch (P) and the belt buckle (Q).
To ensure that the

is held firmly in place, thread the belt latch (P)
of your car's three-point-vehicle-belt from the rear through the next situated and red marked belt
channel slot (C). The lap belt part (O) needs to be kept under the same side's fixation lugs (L). The
diagonal belt (N) is kept under the fixation lugs and is guided through the red marked belt guide slot
(B) between the head rest and the back rest, still at the same side.
Then guide the belt latch behind the backrest of the

and through
the second red marked belt channel slot (C) from behind to the rear again. Please do not twist the
belts during this procedure.
Continue to guide the belt latch (P) towards the belt buckle (Q) by keeping the lap belt (O) and the
diagonal belt (N) under the side's fixation lugs (L). Now fasten the three-point seat-belt as you would
do for an adult, with an audible »click« sound.
Attention: The belts must not be twisted or blocked. The belt anchorage point (K) must not be
blocked either. Please refer to the scribbles in case of any doubt or contact your dealer or
manufacturer.
3.4. Tightening of the belt (fig. 7 and 8a)
To tighten the three-point-vehicle-belt firmly press one of your knees on the child seat. Tighten the
belt by pulling first the belt part near the belt buckle (Q). Then firmly pull the diagonal belt (N) up till
the child's seat is tightened to the maximum.
The tightening must always be conducted in the direction of the retracting mechanism.
Attention:
The belts (D) must not be twisted. The belt anchorage point (K) must not be
blocked.
4. Securing the child into the

that his posterior is right down in the seat recess.
Join together the two buckle latches (E) of the harness belt and push them into the belt buckle
(F) until an audible »click« sound is clearly heard. Make sure that the shoulder belts lie firmly
against the child's body and are not twisted.

with harness belts in group I (9 - 18 kg) Y:
After having fixed (according to the delivered manual) the child seat onto the car seat and the
child into the child seat you need to fix the belt clip (Z). Fix the belt clip above side
belt guide (B). This belt clip (Z) avoids slackening of the seat over the time (see figures below).
Attention:
Always keep it with the seat.
